Ex-White House doctor warns Biden’s declining health threatens national security

Joe Biden’s frailty has become a clear and imminent national security threat as he is no longer fit enough to serve as the President of the United States of America, said a US lawmaker that had once served as a White House physician.

Republican Congressman Ronny Jackson of Texas, who served as a White House physician between 2013 and 2019 before entering politics and being elected to Congress in 2020, told Fox News on Friday that the 80-year-old Biden was “not physically or mentally fit to be our president.”

“I think his lack of physical ability and his physical decline is now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we’ve been watching for so long now,” Jackson said.

“It’s a package that just doesn’t sell around the world, and it’s becoming a national security issue for us. We have to do something about it.”

He further pointed out that Biden’s fall last week onstage at the US Air Force Academy graduation ceremony was an embarrassment and a clear sign that the octogenarian president was no longer fit for the job.

“Leaders all over the world, including our adversaries, are watching this, and this is not good for our country,” he said.

Biden has officially announced that he would be running for re-election in 2024. Jackson criticized the White House for allowing this to happen.

“We have to do something about it, and to think this man thinks he could be president at the age of 86 when he's 80 right now...this is malpractice on the part of the White House," added the hawkish congressman that openly supports former US president Donald Trump.

He later shared both of his interviews on Twitter, where he has over 640,000 followers, saying former president Donald Trump needed to be re-elected in the 2024 US presidential election.

Joe Biden isn't mentally or physically fit to be our President. This man CANNOT be reelected. We need someone who's a LEADER. We need someone who will inspire confidence in our allies, and bring FEAR to our adversaries. We need TRUMP back in the White House! pic.twitter.com/WVTgiPjgZn

The New York Times reported on Sunday that his aides and officials that have known Biden for a while told the news outlet they have noticed “small changes” in the president.

“When he sits down, one former official said, he usually places a hand on his desk to hold his weight and rarely springs back up with his old energy,” The Times report said.

The outlet also reported that Biden's aides limit his access to media outlets over fears that he might make a major gaffe.

Meanwhile, as the nation gears up for the 2024 election, media reports indicate that the Democratic voters have also become more concerned about Biden’s age and his ability to serve a second term.

Polls show most registered voters believe Biden is too old to be an effective president for another four years.

However, the White House has announced that Biden’s old age has not forced any major changes to the presidential schedule.
