Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has won the presidential runoff election, and has now been at the helm for two decades, first as prime minister, and since 2014, as president. This was a close election and the first time in Turkey's history that there was a runoff.

His opposition, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, claims that Erdogan used state funds to get elected.
