Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh has called on legal bodies and international organizations to intervene and mount pressure on the Israeli regime over its crimes in the occupied lands.

Shtayyeh said on Saturday night that all the atrocities that Israel commits against the Palestinian nation will be added to the case filed with The Hague-base International Criminal Court (ICC) against the usurping entity, Palestinian media reported.

The remarks came hours after an armed Israeli settler killed in cold blood a 20-year-old Palestinian man near the village of Sandala, south of the city of Nazareth.

A video circulating on social media showed the settler engaging in a fight with Dayar Omari on a road. As the Palestinian youth returned to his car, the settler pulled out his pistol and fired live shots directly at the young man while he was inside his own car, killing him on the spot.

Policemen dispatched to the scene detained the Israeli settler, a resident of Gan Ner.

Following the murder, clashes erupted between Jewish and Arab citizens of the area.

The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, meanwhile, denounced Omari’s killing.

“Our heroic people will not let the crimes of the occupation and its settlers pass without a response,” the Gaza-based group said in a statement.

The head of the United Arab List, an Israeli political party, condemned the murder and called on the police to investigate and bring its perpetrator to justice.

Mansour Abbas further held the far-right cabinet of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “responsible for the outbreak of crime and the ease with which defenseless innocents are shot.”

The new fatality has increased the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the beginning of this year to over 110.

Hamas deplores Israel’s violations in al-Quds

In a separate development on Saturday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri called on international rights and legal groups to condemn and expose Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the occupied city of al-Quds.

The Tel Aviv regime tries to force the Palestinians out of the holy city by targeting and detaining them, as well as preventing their access to the al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing hefty fines on them, he added in a press release.

Abu Zuhri also called on all Palestinians and the Arab and Muslim world to provide the Palestinian population of al-Quds with all forms of support to confront the Israeli occupation.

Hamas says ‘hands are on trigger’

Additionally, the deputy chief of the Hamas political bureau in the Gaza Strip, said the Palestinian nation stands united on the battlefield with the Zionist enemy.

“Our hands are on the trigger and our guns are pointed at the enemy… We are confident that we will liberate our land and the al-Aqsa Mosque,” Khalil al-Hayya said during a meeting in Algeria.
