Palestinian killed

Israeli forces kill yet another Palestinian in their latest raid in the occupied West Bank. The young man, identified as Suleiman Ayesh, died shortly after regime troopers shot him during a raid on a refugee camp in the city of Ariha. The incursion also left four other Palestinians injured. Israeli forces surrounded the refugee camp and began shooting at Palestinians earlier on Monday. The violence triggered armed clashes with local Palestinians. Israeli forces have killed at least 100 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, so far this year.

Russia repels drone attack

Russia’s Black Sea Fleet has repelled a drone attack on its vessels in the port of Sevastopol, in Crimea. Crimea’s government says the attack on the Black Sea Fleet took place in the early hours of Monday and left no damage. It says forces destroyed one of the surface drones and a second one exploded on its own. Russian media say passenger transportation has been suspended in Sevastopol. Moscow says Ukraine carried out the attack with the help of the UK. Kiev almost never claims responsibility for drone operations and bombings against targets inside Russia or the territory it controls. Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.
