Britain’s government has proposed new legislation to block the illegal entry of migrants and asylum-seekers into the country. The bill, introduced at the House of Commons, has been labeled “profoundly concerning” by the United Nations refugee agency. Opposition lawmakers say it is “morally bankrupt.”
