The US-West bloc has been trying to prevent Iran's trade relations with the world ever since the victory of the Iranian revolution, and in the process they have managed to deal some blows to Iran's economy over time.
The unjust and inhumane sanctions used against the Iranian nation for years have had a damaging impact on the economy and currency of the country, driving a significant number of people into poverty and making imported goods mostly unaffordable. Despite all these, Iran has grown into a sanction-proof country.
