UK's rogue royal, Prince Harry, has come under fire both at home and abroad after admitting he killed 25 Afghans during his military service.
In his highly controversial memoire, Spare, Harry claims he killed 25 people during his two tours of occupied Afghanistan, adding, he did not think of them as "people", but instead as "chess pieces" that had been taken off the board.
Harry served as an attack helicopter pilot between 2012 and 2013. The book claims they were Taliban fighters, but that is hard to verify. Especially, as distant airstrikes of this kind could make it hard to differentiate between fighters and civilians. Amid the condemnation, British Muslims feel particularly outraged.
Afghans are also furious. With many, including Taliban officials issuing demands for Harry to be put on trial for war crimes.
Many British Muslims are left questioning how they now view a royal family with Muslim blood on its hands.
