About 70 officials and representatives of think tanks and research centers from 36 countries have attend the “Tehran Dialogue Forum 2022”. The initiative dubbed "Neighborhood policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, is the third of its kind and this time it focuses on regional friendship and trust-building.
The keynote speakers of the forum, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Kamal Kharazi, the Former Prime minister of Iraq Adel Abdul-Mahdi, and Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Ronaldo Moncada and other participants, reiterated the same stance giving Iran credit for the initiative.
The message of this forum however, is not limited to regional countries.
The first and second rounds of the Tehran Dialogue Forum were held in 2019 and 2020 and as always addressing the latest developments in West Asia will be on top of the agenda.
The discussions of the Tehran Dialogue Forum 2022 will continue in for differ panels focusing on regional security, energy security, the Ukraine crisis and peace in Afghanistan.
