‘Donetsk under massive shelling’
Russia says the eastern city of Donetsk has come under the most intense shelling by Ukrainian forces. The Russian-installed mayor of the city says 40 rockets from Grad multiple rocket launchers have been fired at the city. According to the official, this is the biggest shelling targeting Donetsk since the hostilities broke out eight years ago. No casualties have been reported so far. There's been no immediate response to the mayor’s comments from the Ukrainian side. Meantime, Russia has ruled out the possibility of a Christmas ceasefire, as fierce fighting continues for control of the eastern city of Bakhmut.
Water supply cut to Palestinians
Israeli regime has reportedly cut off water supply to more than 1000 Palestinian residents in the West Bank as part of its continued pressure tactics. The community is one of the largest nomadic groups residing in Palestine.
Deadly attack On UUNIFIL
There's been an armed attack on UNIFIL forces in Lebanon. An Irish peacekeeper has been killed and three others injured.
