A church of England Disciplinary Tribunal for this man: Reverend Stephen Sizer, one of the leading figures in the debunking of Christian Zionism. The purpose of the tribunal: to hear eleven anti-Semitism accusations against him. His main accuser: the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
The accusations against him: sharing a platform with Holocaust deniers whilst attending peace conferences in the Middle East and sharing on social media articles containing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories from other websites.
The sixty-eight-year old priest declined to comment after the hearing but people close to him say he's been crucified for criticizing Israel.
The problem arises from the controversial International Holocaust Remembrance alliance definition of anti-Semitism, which conflates criticism of Israel with hatred of Jews.
Today's hearing cleared the Reverend of seven of the eleven allegations against him. A final hearing is scheduled for next month. People close to Stephen Sizer say that this whole thing was a witch-hunt that's taken its toll on the reverent, on his family, the people who support him and the Palestinian cause.
