UN report on Israeli occupation

Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory is unlawful under international law. That’s what a UN-appointed Commission of Inquiry says.

The rights commission has called on the UN to end Israel’s “permanent occupation,” and urges prosecution of Israeli officials. As expected, Tel Aviv rejected the report as anti-semitic.

In this edition of the spotlight, we will discuss the different aspects of the report and examine the role of the International Court of Justice and other international bodies in holding Israel accountable for its crimes against Palestinians.
