People of Yemen have rallied across the capital Sana'a and other major cities to celebrate Prophet Mohammad’s birth anniversary amid the highly alarming situation in the country. This comes days after the warring sides failed to renew a ceasefire agreement, which ended earlier in October.

Participants say they celebrate Prophet Mohammed's values and principles by honoring his birth anniversary, especially amid the Saudi-led war, which requires Yemenis to follow in the Prophet's footsteps in the face of the coalition's tyranny.

Yemenis have always been one of the largest populations in the world to commemorate Prophet Mohammed's birth anniversary, which proves their love for and loyalty to the Prophet.

Every year, Yemenis dress green and cover their cars and homes with green lights to express their joy and happiness in celebrating the birth of Prophet Mohammed. They say green is the color of peace and mercy, which are major principles in Islam that Prophet Mohammed brought to humanity.
