Energy Crisis: Belgian motorways turn off their lights to save energy
Belgium's southern region of Wallonia is turning off the lights along most of its motorways to save energy because of soaring electricity prices.
"We are in a situation where energy is really very complicated and very expensive. Anything that can be done to reduce consumption will help ease this energy crisis," explains Phillipe Henry, the Walloon Minister for Energy and Infrastructure.
