China has overtaken the United States as the foreign power seen as having the biggest positive influence in Africa by young people. This is according to a survey across 15 major African countries.

This week’s edition is focusing on reports of China’s increasing popularity among young people in Africa while the United States sees a steep decline of its influence in the continent. The second segment of our show today, is on Algeria’s decision to suspend a two-decades-old friendship treaty with Spain after Madrid reversed decades of neutrality in the Western Sahara dispute.
