As Iran seeks strengthening relations with regional countries, Turkmenistans president has paid a visit to Tehran, meeting with Irans leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Ebrahim Raeisi.
During the visit the Leader urged joint Iran-Turkmenistan commissions to work on implementing agreements. President Raeisi has pledged to prioritize economic diplomacy with neighbors during his tenure. Iranian and Turkmen officials signed over a dozen cooperation documents in different fields.
Also Pakistans Foreign Minister visited Tehran on June 14, meeting with top Iranian officials and Venezuelas president visited Tehran on June 11, meeting with top Iranian officials.
