What they lack in numbers, they make up for in solidarity.

Supporters of a British pro-Palestine priest face a week-long Church of England tribunal here for his views on Israel.

The 68-year-old Reverend Stephen Sizer is a retired Anglican vicar, known for his opposition to Christian Zionism, a belief among some Christians that the establishment of Israel in 1948 was in accordance with Biblical prophecy accused of anti-Semitism.

He is facing 11 instances of alleged antisemitism, as outlined last week at the opening of a Church disciplinary hearing – the first of its kind to be held in public.

He has denied the allegations or the claim that he is any way antisemitic.
