Former world champion Amir Khan has confirmed his retirement from the boxing after a 17-year professional career.
His decision came almost 3 months after his final bout, in which he was knocked out in the 6th-round by his long-term rival Kell Brook - who also retired last week.
The 35-year-old Brit, is a former unified light-welterweight world champion, and won silver at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, at the age of only 17. Khan finishes his career with 34 professional wins and 6 losses, having turned professional in 2005.
