Iran provides humanitarian aid to victims of Kabul school bomb attacks

Following bomb attacks in the Afghan capital Kabul, authorities from the Iranian embassy of there met with the victims’ families and offered to make arrangements for the wounded to receive medical treatment in Iran.

Iran’s embassy in Kabul also provided aid, including food and cash, for a total of one hundred families of those killed or wounded.

Taliban officials and Afghan people welcomed the move by the Iranian government and people, asking for more relief funds from the international community.

In the recent months, Iran has sent several consignments of relief supplies to Afghan families and reached out to families of victims of Kandahar and Kunduz mosque blasts.

Iran has been a close friend of Afghanistan in all its ups and downs. People here thank Islamic Republic for its humanitarian assistance, calling for more cooperation between the two countries.
