The Utah Jazz have defeated the Dallas Mavericks 100-99 in Salt Lake City to tie their eastern conference playoff series.
Leading by a solitary point at the end of the first quarter, the Jazz seized momentum in the second quarter with a pair of 7-0 runs to push their gap to 54-42 at half time. Utah, however, ran out of steam in in the 3rd allowing Dallas to take a 3-point advantage into the final frame, but Rudy Gobert played the role of a savior for the Jazz with a big dunk with 11 seconds left in the game.
Jordan Clarkson led Utah in scoring with 25 points, while Luka Doncic scored a game-high 30 points in his first action of the postseason for the Mavs. With the series tied at 2-all, the teams will play game 5 in Dallas on Monday.
