Here, we are meeting the family of Shahid Milad who was killed in Tuesday’s school bombing in Kabul. Milad’s mother can’t speak as she is in flood of tears, mourning the loss of her young son. But his disabled father managed to speak with great sorrow.

In another alley in Hazara neighborhood, another family is mourning the death of a father. After the attack on school students, Mir Hussain went to bring his son home, but he himself fell victim to the second explosion.

Narration 3: Mahdi has survived the attack, but he is struggling with the shock of the attack and the pain of losing his father.

Likewise, in the west of Kabul, there are many families whose beloved ones are either killed or wounded. They feel despaired and can’t hold back their tears. It remains to be seen if the time can heal their wounds.

These day, Afghan families want peace and security. People here say they are terrified of repeated blind terror attacks.
