Israeli Atrocities

Tensions are high in occupied Al-Quds as Israeli forces have once again attacked Palestinians worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound with scores of Palestinians being injured and arrested.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers have fired tear gas and stun grenades at worshipers gathered for dawn prayers. Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has called on the international community to restrain the Israeli regime and stop its aggression against Al-Aqsa.

Jordanians have also taken to the streets in capital Amman in solidarity with the Palestinians demanding the Jordanian government expel the Israeli ambassador and scrap a peace treaty signed with the regime. Tensions began at the holy site last Friday when the Israeli forces attacked Palestinian worshipers during the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

SPOTLIGHT tonight interviews Khaled Barakat journalist and activist from Vancouver and Arnold August author and journalist from Montreal to discuss the latest developments in West Bank tensions.
