Bomb explosions rock school in Kabul

People in the west of Afghan capital Kabul were once again terrified after three explosions hit an educational center and a high school, leaving dozens of people dead and injured in western Kabul.

Soon after the attack, we rushed to Abdu Rahim Shaheed high school to talk with eyewitnesses.

The targeted school is located in Hazaras residential area where the community has been bearing the brunt of blind terror attacks. People are now calling on the Taliban to tighten the security and protect all Afghans.

The Taliban on the other hand claim that they will not let such attacks repeat in the future, vowing to bring the orchestrators to justice.

Last year, at least 58 people were killed and more than 100 injured in a bomb attack on a girls' school in the same Shia neighborhood in Kabul.

In recent years, suicide attacks in western Kabul have taken the of lives of hundreds of civilians, including students. People here say they are exhausted by the growing violence and terrorism.
