Bayern Munich have put themselves in prime position to win their 10th successive Bundesliga title, after overcoming Arminia Bielefeld 3-0 away from home.
The reigning champions moved up after 10 minutes, courtesy of an own goal by Jacob Laursen. It was first ruled offside, but after a VAR review the referee signaled that the goal stands.
The second, came on the stroke of half-time with Serge Gnabry sweeping in a first-time effort. Again and for the same reason, it had to go through a VAR process before being given by the referee.
And, Jamal Musiala sealed all 3 points, capping off a stunning counter-attack to poke home for 3-nil. Now all eyes will be on the Allianz Arena for Bayern’s upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund next weekend, as a victory over direct rivals, will make it a perfect decade for Bayern as the kings of Germany.
