Between April 4 and 9, the organization Scientific Rebellion is organizing a "week of scientific rebellion," a campaign of civil disobedience coinciding with the publication of the third part of one of the most crucial climate reports in the world, the IPCC.
In Madrid, activists and scientists throw red paint on the doors of the Spanish Parliament.
"The red paint represents the blood of all those who have died because of the climate crisis, the blood of all those who will die," says environmentalist Victor de Santos.
Police have reported 20 protesters for breaking the law.
