The Dallas Mavericks have secured a playoff spot after a 120-112 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Down by 6 points at half time, Dallas came out hot in the 3rd, outscoring the Cavaliers 39-22 to take a 100-89 lead, heading into the final quarter. And they held onto their advantage in the 4th to seal the win.
Luka Doncic had a game-high 35 points, nine rebounds and 13 assists for the Mavericks, who are in the playoffs for a third straight year. Cleveland are 7th in the East, two games behind the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls in the battle for the last direct entry into the playoffs. There were also wins for the Nuggets, the Wizards, the Heat, the Hornets, the Kings, the Hawks and the Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
