Van Gogh was one of the most famous and influential figures in western art history of the 19th century.
- An art gallery in London, Tate Modern, is hosting an exhibition with a remarkable span of surrealist works. The exhibition dubbed Surrealism Beyond Borders features more than 170 artworks, ranging from paintings and sculptures to photography and films. Works from more than 150 artists from over 60 years are on the display. The exhibit also has a wide geographical span and includes surrealist artworks from different countries.

Well, a center in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo is doing the same: life-saving services to injured apes. The sanctuary, located in a vast national park, has been active for two decades. The center houses scores of chimpanzees, gorillas, and endangered great apes, bonobos.
