Iranians across the country have turned out to mark the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
People from all walks of life participated in the rallies to mark the revolution that was led by the late Imam Khomeini that toppled the western-backed Pahlavi regime. In fact, the Revolution brought the curtain down on more than two millennia of monarchy in the country.

One of the revolutions main promises was to keep the country away from all forms of dependence either on the West or the East. On tonight's program we will explore the many achievements of Iran's Islamic Revolution.
