Expired COVID-19 vaccines in Africa

Several African countries have been forced to discard millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccines donated, actually dumped, by major Western powers because the vaccines expired within weeks of being received as donations.

Last December, Nigeria had no option but to destroy more than one million doses of expired AstraZeneca vaccines. A senior official speaks here on the expired vaccines.

In the first segment of this weeks program we are focusing on how Western countries stockpile excess vaccines and "donate" them to African countries when they are about to expire.

In the second part we shall talk about Djibouti, a tiny but strategic horn of Africa state that has been turned into a hub of imperialist powers seeking to spread their hegemony all over Africa and beyond.
