Decades of war on Afghanistan have taken thousands of civilian lives and left so many others injured or disabled. According to the Costs of War Project, nearly 46,000 Afghan civilians were killed in the past 20 years, but five months after the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Afghans and the Taliban say civilian casualties have been dramatically declined.
