Following the recent attack by the Saudi-led coalition on northern city of Sa'ada, the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Yemen Katharina Ritz visited the targeted prison and expressed shock at the tragic situation there.

Yemen’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the recent crime in Sa’ada has doubled the anger of the Yemeni people and strengthened their will to continue resisting the Saudi-led aggression. The ministry also called on the UN to send two planes to evacuate the wounded in Sa'ada attack.

In the latest airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition's warplanes on Sa’ada prison, scores of Yemenis were killed and many others wounded.

Since the beginning of war on Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition in 2015, thousands of Yemenis, including women and children, have been killed.

People here say the US policies embolden the Saudi-led coalition to increase its brutal airstrikes and commit new war crimes against Yemeni civilians. They say all the parties involved in the deadly war against their country will be brought to justice sooner or later.
