As many as 10 Afghans, including seven children, were killed in a botched US drone strike in the Afghan capital Kabul in August. The US military initially defended the strike but later called it a mistake. However, refrained from punishing those responsible for this horrendous incident. 

Now, the release of newly declassified surveillance footage provides additional insights into the final minutes and aftermath of the Kabul drone strike. Afghans are calling for recognition of the deadly attack as a war crime and due punishment of the American perpetrators.
