In early 2015, Saudi Arabia assembled a coalition for invading Yemen, the poorest country in the region. It soon turned out to be a loose coalition, but still two countries remained loyal to the Saudis: the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
Since the onset of the war, the three countries have shown no mercy to Yemeni civilians. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed and millions more displaced.
But the callousness of the coalition is not confined to the Yemeni theater. In fact, the Troikas utter disregard for human life and dignity begins at home and the bloody campaign against Yemen is just the extension of this inhumane attitude towards people.
