NBA: Washington Wizards 98-123 Utah Jazz

Over the NBA, the Utah Jazz have stretched their winning run to 7 games with a 123-98 defeat of the Wizards in Washington.

The Jazz went into halftime trailing by a single point at 51-50. Utah roared back after the break holding the Wizards to just 18 points in the 3rd for a 12 point advantage. The Jazz did not let up in the 4th outscoring Washington 42-29 to finish off an undefeated four-game road trip.

Donovan Mitchell led the way for Utah with 28 points. Bradley Beal had 21 points for the Wizards who lost for the fourth time in five games.

Meanwhile in Los Angeles Reggie Jackson scored the game-winning basket with 2 seconds left as the Clippers edged past the Orlando Magic 106-104.

With Los Angeles leading 104-101, Cole Anthony sank a 3-pointer with 23 seconds remaining to tie the score. But Jackson made a step-back jumper to help secure the Clippers’ third straight victory.

They improved to 15-12 and sit fifth in the Western Conference, 6 wins behind the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns who have won 21 games each so far this season.
