A UK court has ruled that Julian Assange, the famous Australian whistleblower and WikiLeaks founder, can be extradited to the United States. While the ruling is seen as a victory for the US government’s latest appeal to overturn a previous ruling blocking his extradition, many see it as a serious blow to human rights and press freedom.
