Tehran and the remaining parties to the JCPOA have held seven rounds of talks this year to resolve outstanding issues. Iran offered two documents at the most recent discussions, which ended on Friday. But, the European members, namely Germany, Britain, and France, have stated that Iran's demands are in violation of the nuclear deal's terms. The US has also expressed the same. Iran on the other hand says it is adhering to the text of the previous rounds but has expanded on issues like verification of sanctions lifting.
