Beside financial crises and political instability, Afghanistan is experiencing one of the worst droughts of the last three decades, further pushing the country into hunger and famine. According to the UN bodies, 80 percent of Afghans’ livelihoods are tied to agriculture, which is now extremely hit by water scarcity and climate change.
