AC Milan have moved back on top of the Serie A with Napoli, as they overcame Roma 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave Milan the lead in the 25th minute, when he thundered home a 25-yard free-kick to register his 400th domestic career goal.
Franck Kessie then doubled the advantage after the restart from the spot.
Roma netted a consolation through Stephan El Shaarawy after an injury time penalty box melee, but Milan held strong to the final whistle as Jose Mourinho who had spent two successful seasons with Inter Milan, suffered his first ever home defeat in Serie A.
