Over the Basketball, the Chicago Bulls have maintained their perfect start to the NBA season with a 97-82 win over the Detroit Pistons.
The Bulls led by 4 points after a quarter of play and build the advantage to 11 points by half time. Chicago resorted to an overwhelmingly defensive effort, holding Detroit to just 11 as they took a 79-54 lead into the final Stanza which was more than enough to seal their 2nd win over Detroit in just 4 days.
DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points for Chicago to propel the bulls to their first 3-nothing start in five years.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers grabbed their first win of the season, after defeating the Atlanta Hawks 101-95. Cleveland trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half but they battled back to trim the Hawks lead to 55-52 at intermission.
The Cavs came out strong in the third quarter, outscoring Atlanta 31-17 to take an 11 point advantage to 4th and held on to it for the victory. Ricky Rubio scored 23 points for the Cavs while Trae Young had 24 points for the Hawks.
