British Muslim advocacy groups are entering the battle to save the career of the pro-Palestine professor, David Miller, sacked by Bristol University over his criticism of Israel and Zionism.

Miller’s supporters say he was wrongfully dismissed following a relentless pressure campaign by pro-Israel groups.

Speaking to Press TV, the London based Islamic Human Rights Commission explained that the university faces an international boycott.

The IHRC were the first to send a letter with signatures of prominent Muslims from across the globe.

While the Muslim Public Affairs Committee published a 2nd own open letter urging the public to sign up too.

An online petition in support of Miller is close to passing 25K signatures, while Miller himself has been invited to address supporters at a free speech Resistance festival this weekend.

Bristol University is now under the spotlight, accusations are rife of Islamophobia and questions surround whether the campus can even be considered a safe space for Arabs or Muslims but it's the question of censorship which really worries many onlookers.
