Israeli forces have re-arrested four of six Palestinian inmates who had escaped from Israel's Gilboa prison days ago through a tunnel under their cell.
The inmates were arrested in northern parts of the occupied territories following a massive Israeli manhunt that lasted for days.
A wide case of outrage was triggered by the re-arrest of the inmates. People held rallies in solidarity with the Palestinian inmates in several parts of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The Palestinian resistance groups sent a clear message warning the Israeli army to fire rockets if it causes harm to the inmates, confirming their support for the prisoners as they are on Palestinians' top priories. They also called on the international community to hold Israel responsible for the lives of the Palestinian detainees.
Palestinians say despite being arrested, the escaped Palestinian inmates have scored a victory and harmed the image of the Israeli security system. They say the escapees are heroes for their attempt to get rid of the grip of inhumane Israeli regime.
