An Algerian judoka athlete who made headlines last week for shunning an Israeli opponent at the Tokyo Olympics has now been temporarily suspended along with his coach from the International Judo Federation.

Meaning that Fethi Nourine will not be able to compete after making his bold statement in support of Palestine.

After returning to Algeria, Press TV secured an exclusive talk with Nourine to ask why he felt he had to walk.

His actions meant he would miss out on a chance to win a medal, but Nourine admitted he had no regrets.
