Dry, hot, windy weather is fanning the flames of dozens of wildfires across the western United States on Monday (July 19).
The Bootleg Fire in Oregon - the largest wildfire raging in the United States - is pushing to the north and east. It grew in size to more than 300,00 acres (1214 square kilometres) - an area larger than Hong Kong.
On last report, the fire was just 25% contained, according to @inciweb that reported that firefighters battled the flames throughout the night, but the fire is expected to grow because of weather conditions.
