Displaced Gazans camp by the rubble of their homes

The latest Israeli airstrike over the Gaza Strip has left several families homeless.

In northern parts of the enclave, tents have replaced high rise buildings levelled by Israeli airstrike.

Abu Mohammed, a father of 11 children, has his 3 story-building bombed. He is now living with his family in his damaged home with nowhere to go.

Alaa, a Gazan student has all her belongings damaged when the Israeli regime bombed their home. She is now not able to pursue her studies due to the chaos she is caught in.

The Gaza housing ministry says 1800 housing units have been totally and 17000 partially damaged in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian are still recovering the 2014 war on Gaza that caused huge destruction, and the latest onslaught increased the tragedy. Om Mohammed visits the building that housed her family for more than 10 years crumble down by the Israeli airstrike.

The scene of displaced families have turned into a familiar scene in the Gaza Strip as most Gazans have lost their houses in Israeli airstrikes. Many of them are now camping on the rubbles of their homes with nowhere else to go.
