US meddling in Ethiopia’s Tigray

Thousands of Ethiopians took to the streets to protest what they described as interference by the United States. During the May rallies in the capital Addis Ababa, the protesters filled the city's old stadium and the surrounding streets in a well-organized, peaceful demonstration dubbed Voices of Freedom and Sovereignty.

The protestors had a clear message to the US. Hands Off Ethiopia. In our show today we are focusing on Ethiopias rejection of meddling by Western countries especially the US as it battles a rebel movement in the countrys Tigray region. In the second segment of our program we will be talking about the recent parliamentary elections in Algeria as the country moves towards political stability.
