We want the exact implementation of the JCPOA; Not a word more; not a word less. This is what Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh has once again reiterated during his weekly press conference in Tehran.
Iran and the P4+1 group of countries which signed the JCPOA back in 2015 have held fifth round of talks in Vienna to revive the nuclear deal.
Officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the nuclear deal has survived almost three years of unilateral US sanctions on Iran, since the former US administration discarded the accord in 2018.
Iran has repeatedly announced that the US should first lift all the sanctions imposed against the country after unilaterally withdrawing from JCPOA before Tehran would return to full compliance of its commitments under the nuclear deal.
