Leaders of Palestinian resistance factions signed a banner hung on the wall of the Palestinian legislative council in Gaza vowing to protect Jerusalem al-Quds against Israeli attacks.

Israeli forces have been attacking worshipers in the occupied Palestinian city in recent days.

Hundreds of Palestinian protesters were injured since Sunday night during fresh Israeli assaults on worshipers at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

During a press conference Palestinian resistance groups warned the Israeli regime against violations at the al-Aqsa Mosque, emphasizing that any provocative move against the sacred site will only infuriate Palestinians.

Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Israeli forces and illegal settlers have been trying to prevent Palestinians from gathering and performing their religious duties at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Palestinian resistance groups vowed to use all forms of resistance to defend Jerusalem al-Quds.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Israeli forces and setters attacked Palestinian homes in al- al-Quds’ Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
The Israeli regime is trying to force the Palestinians to abandon and evacuate their residences there.

Palestinians stress that Jerusalem al-Quds will always remain the capital of Palestine despite the US and Israeli plots to change its status.

Observers say the international community has failed to help the Palestinians in Jerusalem al-Quds and turned a blind eye to Israeli violations against them for decades.
