Borussia Dortmund have booked a place in the DFB-Pokal final after hammering second tier club Kiel 5-nil at Signal Iduna Park.
Kiel, who famously eliminated Bayern Munich in the second round of the event, only resisted for 16 minutes as American striker Giovanni Reyna scored twice in the span of 7 minutes, before captain Marco Reus added the 3rd from close range in the 26th minute.
Dortmund, who are looking to finish in the top 4 in the Bundesliga with 3 matches left to play, continued their merciless performance and put the match to bed by scoring 2 more goals to make it 5-nil within the first half.
Dortmund have now set up a showdown on the 13th of May against RB Leipzig, who knocked out Werder Bremen 2-1 on Friday.
