Chelsea have survived from Mehdi Taremi’s brilliant late winner to overcome Porto 2-1 on aggregate and confirmed a place in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

The London Blues came into the return leg with a 2-goal lead from the 1st leg. However, the match appeared to be heading to goal-less draw, before Taremi scored the only goal of the match with a spectacular overhead kick in the dying moments of the match.

But it was all in vain and Chelsea confirmed a place in the Champions League semi-finals for the 1st time in 7 years. Thomas Tuchel's side now will now face either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the semi-final.
