Colombia's Cali Zoo enlisted a pianist to help soothe its animals with the sound of some of the world's most famous classical compositions.
Zoo officials said this new sensory experience is having a calming effect on animals as diverse as zebras, lions and flamingos.
Pianist Mario Fernando Prado welcomed the novel opportunity. "I have played for many animals, but the two-legged kind," he joked.
Cali Zoo hopes their debut pianist will pave the way for other musical acts to serenade their wild animals.
