The head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has visited Iraq on his first international trip since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. That marks the pontiffs first ever visit to the country. On Saturday, Pope had a historic meeting with Iraq's top Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani in the city of Najaf. His 4 day tour of the country is meant to show how different sects and religions can co-exists side-by-side, while reinvigorating the Iraqi Christians presence in that country.
